CBSE PATTERN for Classes 1 to 5

At Rowtree Montessori School, the CBSE PATTERN for Classes 1 to 5 is thoughtfully designed to lay a strong foundation in core subjects while nurturing a lifelong love for learning. The approach is child-centered, making education engaging, enjoyable, and tailored to the individual needs of each student. Through interactive learning methods such as activities, discussions, and hands-on experiences, students develop not just academic knowledge, but also essential life skills like critical thinking, creativity, and communication.

The curriculum includes key subjects such as Mathematics, Science, English, Social Science , Marathi, and Hindi, with a particular emphasis on language development—enhancing reading, writing, and speaking skills in multiple languages. Focus is also placed on reinforcing foundational concepts, ensuring that students build a strong base for advanced learning in higher classes.

Assessment is carried out through a combination of internal and external evaluations, with grades reflecting overall performance rather than just exam scores. Importantly, there are no board exams for Class 5, and students who need additional support may receive remedial instruction or be allowed to repeat the class if necessary.

Admissions for Classes 1 to 5 are now open for the Academic Year 2026–2027 under the CBSE PATTERN (proposed up to Class 10).
